CattStack started in 2021 when a small group of infrastructure and cryptography engineers got tired of choosing between storage that was easy and storage that was private. We decided you shouldn't have to.
Today we're a remote team of 24 spread across seven countries, headquartered in Reykjavík because Iceland's cool climate, renewable grid, and strong privacy law make it a good place to keep data. We're profitable, independently owned, and we take no money that would ask us to weaken our encryption.

- Your keys, your files. If we can read your data, so can someone we don't want to. So we can't.
- Boring is a feature. Storage should sync quietly and get out of the way.
